    Ive heard that the Great wall vehicles are very heavy on juice and are a lemon. Apparently, they fall apart allot and are forever in the work shop. Parts have to be ordered in from CHina...
    Also they did pass the safety test. Theres allot of people out there who are demanding the Great wall vehicles are removed off the Aussie market due to all these issues.

    Sounds like i'll hang in with the Toyota, oldy in good condition, GW=FU!!

    mate totally agree my Toyota bought new in 2004 was the last of the jap built only clocked up 95k in 10 years my mechamnis said it will do me till i am 80 lol only done a grease and oil change long live the hilux so reliable

    The one I have cost $34500 in 1997 new, Ill bung up some pic's next few days with the trailer and pest gear for viewing, it really is a reliable nice old gal in good condition, just belts along the road and never asks a question....chugga, chugga, paint is in great condition..blah,blah....

    dont let the secret about working smarter not harder redeye they will all have low k trucks lol ..bloody car yards will go broke if you let that secret out

    Matt, that article is 4 years old. They have come a long way since then, but they're still rubbish.

    you need to talk to your accountant

    there is plus and minus to both

    if you lease you have 100% tax deduction , but there is also usually lease setup fees

    if you finance /loan the vehicle something thinking about is paying the gst, dealer fees, rego, etc upfront and finance the actual vehicle cost
    because all of those are immediate tax deductions and the gst comes back and you then arent paying interest on all of those things

    you then get depreciation on the vehicle and once you have paid out the loan you own it outright
