No way Budd Whose bed is Jim really in?

After seeing the Honda propaganda using a Jims Mowing franchisee ...I now stumble on http://www.allpower.com.au/feel-the-power/ ....apparently allpower is "the preferred power gardening equipment supplier of Jim’s Mowing." ...interesting ....at least I thought it was lol probably just lack of sleep of course.

When I purchased my John Deere ZTR, I was asked by my dealer "Are you a Jim's?" I said no, he said well John Deere is offering them a $685 voucher (A new John Deere JS48 Mower basically)

The big company's do that. When I was with VIP we had a 3 yr advertising deal with STIHL that meant all VIP franchisees could purchase heavily discounted equipment. Not everyone bought STIHL. Guys are set in their ways and stuck with whatever they preferred.

A lot of the VIPs here seem to be running around with Husqvarna gear on their trailers and utes.

I've seen a few Jimmys with bloody Ryobis along with using no PPE.

(Guessing the franchise cost inhibited them from buying "proper" equipment)

same as me, when I was with VIP few years ago, the area manager told me about the echo & shindi tools.

Therefore, Im stuck now using Shindi. I should buy Ryobi cordless instead of shindi

I was a area manager for VIP and you're right, new guys would usually by what you use. I could never stress enough the importance of purchasing quality tools, but time and again guys would stretch themselves buying in to the business and end up getting some crap machine from Bunnings.
