Default rover shredder vac or other vacs

Coming up to Autumn, leaves are falling, does anyone use something like these, is it a good investment or is it just better to blow leaves on to lawn and mow or rake and pickup into wool bales. I guess it comes down to individual circumstances as to wether it is worth it but do the machines perform well or are they mostly designed to sit in the shed like edgers? I've never used one and haven't seen anyone else using one. Gotta admit i don't mind raking leaves, its kinda peaceful not having an engine blaring in your ear for a few hours as long as the job is worthwhile. Until the backback blower comes out.

Sterlo do you find the hose kit useful?? I was thinking it could be good to use in gardens to clean up hedge trimmings,I just don't know of anyone with the hose to ask how good they are

I have had no probs with the hose attachment, this model is a beast. Even sucks up heavy, clumped wet liquid amber leaves without any effort.

I've got an MTD which is basically Rover.

Cost $500 from Masters, don't ask why

For you to buy would be $729

    Does great on the cleanups.

Bag needed a $30 repair to make it a commercial quality bag.

Apart from that it's a gem.
