    Imagine making a living out of mowing lawns till we are 70. Thoughts guys

    My thoughts are it could be 75 by the time I get there especially at the rate it is going up

    I might up my hourly rate as it will take longer to cut a lawn as i age.
    Might use a sliding scale e.g. 50 yrs = $50
    70 yrs = $70
    That would be a sort of reverse pensioner dicount

    I just love the way a fat cat(no matter what party) who will get close to 300k a year pension plus perks as soon as he resigns from office tells the rest of us we will have to do the heavy lifting for the country based on figures he and his party have manipulated the crap out of.

    At 42 years old I'm hoping for another 10-15 years (been close to 10 so far). Not sure if I could manage another 28. Lots of aches and pains already.

    Mowin grass at 70. ( Cheers Mr.Hockee).
    Would be on a walker + offsider doing the edges.
    Maintaining a resort complex in the maldives.
    With surfing by lunchtime.

    Another 20 years to get this reverse aging pill out to public consumption, maybe a bit more to get organs grown in a lab so they can replace your current ones. Retirement age will be ~85 by about 2050.

    Almost the same good vintage, If you have a few hundred grand and own your home and living off 50k plus with investments or interest...WTF?...my compulsory super never kicked in till around 1991, I thinks its to niggle at the 'you don't need it ' folk...wait and see.
