    Default pony tail palms

    anyone taken one of these out,is it easy to remove the bottom bit

    The ponytail palm has a shallow matted fibourus root ball,making them straight forward to remove/transplant.
    Dig a trench around the base of the palm.
    This will allow you to get underneath the rootball.
    Use a combination of maddock/long handled shovel/crowbar.
