This big girls was above the bed awhile back, We turned the lights off and left her there. Gave her a warning about coming on the bed through the night though lol.

No spiders welcome in the bed. On the walls is fine, not in the bed lol

The one on the boots looks like an Orb spider from the garden. Hunstman in the second picture I like as they deal with a few bugs and moths inside the house. Am I seeing things or does the Orb only have 6 legs!

^ Interesting link. I've only ever seen the one type of Huntsman we get in the house here. Some of those pics do look like the spidy on the boots which I though was an Orb.

Yeah they call it a Common Huntsman apparently. It was the first time we had seen these types when we moved into this house as well,

Yep, their pretty well harmless, them sometimes I get a call from Ms Distressed complaining their egg sack had exploded and baby spiders are everywhere and want the house fumigated, kill the lot, best to put them outside b4 this happens I reckon.

My other half was bitten by a huntsman back when she was in school. Made her nauseous and had localised swelling from the bite. So when they want to bite they can, but they prefer not to
