    Default SHINDAIWA T260X metal blade

Can a brush cutter blade be used on this trimmer or is there some risk involved damaging the drive shaft

This model runs a solid steel shaft so wont be a problem. Some of the cheap straight shaft trimmers are now being fitted with same flexible shaft that is run in the domestic bent shaft trimmers, which fail easily if much force is put on them. I have attached a metal blade to my Shindaiwa t270 no worries.
