Ha I saw that NLALM. He's a legend.
Mick's cutting lush green pastures and cooking lamb racks and prawns. Meanwhile I'm making dust storms and cooking baked beans on toast
Ha, settle down you two! Man cannot live on grass alone! Or something like that!

I like the Smoked Ribs
Last time I mowed this school it was feral after 3 weeks. Mowed it again today (14 days) to try to clean up the mess I left.
Still some serious growth there mate, for 14 days! Machine and deck seems to handle it well though!
Yeah Mick. Anything here is pretty tough at 14 days at present.
I put new High Lift blades on yesterday and they seem to clear the deck out better and throw the clippings a bit further.
Still pretty slow though. Video makes it look faster than what it felt like.
Wonder how that guy with the sythe would go?
Yep, fortnightly cuts are getting a bit out of control. Heres one from last Saturday... http://youtu.be/L3s_oiYvVQ0?list=UUY...HkqgRFLbcdGSgQ
Would that be a Education Queensland school or private up that way Ed? The state schools around here don't have anything done to them the entire holidays and most have Ed Qld employed gardeners.
It's a State School Paul. There are about 5 small schools in little outlying villages around here. All seem to have different arrangements for their grounds maintenance. Most have P&C or principals do the mowing. One has a mower and hires a gardener at an hourly rate
I think the P&C did this one before I took over but wasn't very successful. Principal tells me they baled hay off it after Christmas break a couple of years ago.
