Been raining since feb. I've done possibly 2 days work since. We had floods the other days and now it's starting to ease. But damn too wet to mow anything. Nearly a month behind in work.
I'm thinkining of whipper snipping all lawns when it does dry out a bit. Tried to push me he mower on my grass but left mud tracks

Gee it's the exact opposite here.
Right through spring & summer we'd get a bit of rain to tease us, then get no more for 3-4 weeks.

We've had a couple of good falls in the last couple of weeks and the grass is finally starting to look a bit healthy and grow a bit.

Hopefully we'll get a bit more rain this week and might get a bit of a decent run before winter.

I'm hoping for no more rain for at least the next month. I'm not as far behind as Imoww, about 1-2 weeks, but the grass is going nuts. This has been the most frustrating busy season I can remember. Virtually no rain from September to early February, stupidly hot weather in the high 30's to low 40's, and now the rain won't stop. We ended up with over 150mm on Thursday afternoon and evening and another 50mm predicted for today.

If your running honda's, try extra rear wheels, 2 or 3 wheels on each side, just get longer axle wheel bolts.

Ive used 2 wheels on each side before when single wheels just bogged and it worked, 3 would be even better.

I mowed a school this morning.
Since November, I've done easy mows @ 7 week, 4 week & 5 week intervals and front up to this at just 2 weeks since last mow.

Happy Days!! Might have to try to bump them to weekly. Can't have the future Bradmans trying to play cricket in that.

This will have to be one of the wettest Autumns/March on record for the Illawarra. Most Kyku lawns are putting on 6" a week and the ground is boggy mud.
Anyone with an old petrol Flymow in the shed would be laughing.
Seems like I retired at the right time.
    "Can't" is a dirty 4 letter word.
If someone says "Can't" , take the "T" off the end and brew it.
Sip on a mugfull, relax, and take a look at what you've got left to work with.

Hope everyone in the areas affected by Cyclone Debbie and her aftermath are safe & well.
We were lucky here with just 100mm of steady rain yesterday.

Grass is growing mad here now after some handy falls in the last fortnight.
Did this one this morning @ 10 days. Had to double cut it with the HRX. Took 3 heavy woolpacks off this back yard.

My back yard is a soggy mess. It is going to take a few good days of drying to get back to hard ground again. I am still behind about 4-5 jobs from the last fortnight that I am hoping to catch up on this week with my partner home from work for holidays.

Wishing everyone in the southern Brisbane and NSW flooded areas a speedy clean up.

3.6° here this morning was a shock to the system. Hopefully not a sign of an early winter.
I'd like at least another 4-6 weeks of mowing after a very intermittent season.

What do you guys think this summer will be like ? Its still winter and we are getting around mid 20s temps. But it is also dry as around here. I'm thinking it could be a long hot dry summer, but I hope its not
