How are your customers coping with the doubling of your prices
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

No !! Went from $40 to $45 as I said previously. I did forget to mention + GST
Still booked solid! Thought it might slow things down a bit but no such luck.
At least with all this work and the profit I can afford new equipment most years.

I am also able to save a little for the hip operation I am surely going to have after working 6 days a week and 20+ years in the industry. The specialist did say it was only a matter of time . Told me to get an "office job" if I wanted my body to last

I wish I was getting $45/hr for these jobs. When a normal 50 min job takes up to 90 mins to do, it knocks the average around. (:

Just about time to kick back for the winter here. 7° here this morning & frost forecast for the weekend. I just have a few to do this week & next to finish the round.

I cut my firewood business right back last year but might have to get back into it more this year.

10mm of rain since midday and its 4.30pm now, soil temp is high being inland and my own grass is growing before my eyes. Even a hedge lining a 55mtr fence is trying to reach the stars in joy of the rain.
Oh boy !!!, its's great to see some much needed rain. but the work load means a A4 work diary needs to change to a foolscap diary by tomorrow onwards.
If it rains again tomorrow I have to wear a poncho as I've a Church in the mix of jobs that has a Funeral Service on Friday. Rain, hail or thunder, it must be done.
    Cheers Garry

We've had a few storms in the area over the last week. Totals vary between 1-2" so just enough to the weeds growing and grass getting a green tinge about it.
    More forecast for the weekend.

We recently put most of our resi lawns onto an early 3 weekly schedule due to it being so dry.
With about 30-40mm or so today they are ALL back on 2 weekly.
Hate to think what the phone is going to do this week and next

Don't know if this should be in the happy or grumpy thread as I am still not in new house.
Need the fencing and gates done as Rouser and the 2 dogs next door go toe to toe through the fence Have been doing fences, gates and security doors and now will be struggling again to complete them to get the dog in. Not to mention the the 60 odd meters of plinth board and cut/bent weld mesh panels put in to stop the dogs digging under fence. At least concrete driveway will be cured but the 3 recent post holes I dug will be full of water
