It was around 3.30! I haven't driven in rain like that for ages. The left lane of the Highway had a river about 1 metre out from the gutter.

Fun! I did that a few years ago but I think I had about 130 metres to do. It was easily the worst job I have done as far as quality goes. Mud all over me and almost impossible to get the ground flat. The main problem was I installed drip irrigation and had shallow trenches for it, so every time I stepped where the trenches were which were every 400mm, the ground just sunk. I was embarrassed at my work but I had no option as it was just before Easter long weekend and I had all my regular lawns to mow the next day before Good Friday.

Rain has finally arrived here. First rain for the entire month.

Nice and steady at the moment. Expecting between 20 - 40mm. First two jobs today were in the dust. Last was was in the rain. Didn't mind it at all!

Hi Guys and Girls, It finally stopped raining just as we got to school at 2.55pm. The only work we did today was two quotes and a trip to the mower shop to pick up a part for the 216. If we loose another full day to rain this week the diary is going to be right mess next week trying to play catch up.

It must be going to pour. Our esteemed premier is throwing away water on the extremely slim possability that we will get a flood. If that isn't a political stunt then I don't know what is. The dams are below 80% and Wivanhoe which holds most of it is below 75% which means that ity is only just above 1/3 full and the BOM is forcasting a 75% chance that we will get 300-400mm in the 3 months Dec to Feb. That won't even wet the ground it is so dry here. We haven't had a drop of rain for 2 full months. Last rain was in September and then only 13mm and now the bureau is back peddling on this rain that was suppose to be going to be good solid rain for 2 days then ongoing showers. Will be lucky to get an 20mm.
