Same weather out this way but I just worked through it. Otherwise I'd have to do satdy. Bugger that! Got me 9 done and managed to mulch most and have em lookin bloody good for chrissy! Clients were impressed that I was out in it! Lookin like more of the same tomorrow too. Glad I only put my good regulars on these 2 days. Only a weeks growth on some.

Drizzling rain on the mountains this morning, so had to decide whether to do the steep, lighter grassed blocks first or the flatter heavier wet grass blocks.
Did the steep ones and after a bit of slip sliding and a shedload extra whippying, the rain stopped and turned into a beaut day.
Just one acreage and a quote tomorrow and I can pull down the sign for 4 days.

The rain has finally returned here after getting nothing decent since 20mm on the 11th.

Had a cell go through earlier that left 24mm and in the middle of another one right now that will dump more than the early one.

We've passed our December average already; normally about 91mm (5 days) over the last 15 years (Weatherzone). Probably up to 140mm by now for the month with 6 rain days of 5mm or more including this evening.

It is going to be a scorcher over here today. Forecasting 38 today and 41 tomorrow. Just finished my outdoor work at home just now and it is already 36 in the shade under my verandah. Where I am at we are always a couple of degrees up on the official forecast so reckon we will top 40 today. Off to my brother in laws for NYE so in the pool and spa for me. Just have to keep the internal fluids topped up.
    Cheers
