Measured rain gauge just then. It was over flowing so I'd say approx 190+mm since that last check/empty. So thats 320mm so far.

Was cleaning my drains out on the road and a tree came down only 20m away blocking the road. Main Roads are on it now clearing it.

Took kid to school earlier, road blocked so took a very long way round only to be told the schools closed when I got there. NOT HAPPY!

My dam is over flowing and the neighbours driveway is getting washed away! That'll be my fault.

Another neighbours house is at slight risk of being flooded if the rain doesnt let up soon.

Have to head to Brissie tomorrow night, wife, daughter & mum have tickets for Mary Poppins at QPAC.The old boy and I were going to adjourn to the pub across the road whilst the show was on but one of us may have to stay sober in weather like this
im off to brissie in a few weeks to see mary poppins. we're not getting that much rain here .10mm last night. did some gardening jobs this morning. decided that the grass was dry enough to mow so headed off for my first mow job, got out the car and it rained, just enough to put that one off . oh well

Some good rain there mate. On the up side think of the growth after it fines up. Be like spring again. I was mowing today sweating profusely in a cloud of dust. Send a couple of inches our way

Its not going to dry any time soon mate. Showers and more heavy rain predicted later in the week, then more showers next week. But yes, its going to be full on when the sun comes out. Might even get a few good calls for a change!

So who's going out to work tomorrow if it's fine? Would that be Un-Australian?

I'm getting worried about how far behind I'm getting and that when I catch up there will only be another week til the same lawn have to be mowed again.

Not me,2 days behind but the ground is absolutely saturated and as Mick has said the forecast for the next 7 days is 90% chance of rain every day.
