"Success occurs when no one is looking, failure occurs when everyone is watching."
Pissing down in Sydney can't do much,
I was just listening to the Foxtel weather channel man on the radio and he said it could be the biggest rain event NSW has ever seen! Lots of flooding expected, and even the Hawkesbury/Nepean River is expected to flood, and Warragamba Dam will overflow for the first time in 14 years.
Last night on the news I think they said it is the wettest Summer in Sydney in 40 years and one of the coolest. It must be that global warming.
Yuh, mind u, we didn't get lots in bankstown, doesn't seam to wet, but it's pissing down
Hi greenie not much fun mate unless your a duck
Lol, might go do some retail therapy today, and good mower shops up ur way??
I was talking to a client a few months ago who was an ex taxi driver in the 80's and early 90's... He said it was a hard slog then being a taxi driver as it rained non stop here in sydney and no one would go out.
He gave me a warning that we are going into that phase again and expect heaps of rain here in sydney.
He has been spot on... Global warming.. pfttt
We have a desalination plant here in sydney (cost of around 2 billion dollars) and warragamba dam will most likely have the flood gates released today as it is overfilled... great work and awesome planning labor scaremongers.
I love the fear campaigns that they use to control the majority.
Simmo.
sorry duplicate... why does this happen?
Simmo.
ahh yes. Once they realised they were wrong they changed the name. Never fear, we have Tim Flannery looking out for us. The man who once predicted our major cities would run out of water.
