Yes I am going for a look shortly but its soggy out there with drizle.. I have only ever used honda mowers but would like to give others a go. Are the rovers good in the wet? I been taking a wooden paint stirer with me to clean the bottom every 5 min when its like this.

More rain in Melbourne today. It's been a wet week. Tim commented on the way home from hospital that everything had been brown when he left and had now greened up nicely.

Our water storages are around double what they were in 2009 with our nearest reservoir at 100% capacity and now that summer is over hopefully we can look forward to topping the rest of them up as well, some others wouldn't need much more to be full.

Our lawns are desperately needing to be done and I thought yesterday I would drag out the Honda and the Echo and see if I still had the knack but stuff it, not doing it in this weather.

The sun has been out and the lawn is almost dry so Mark has jumped in the ute to go and get as much work done as he can fit in before the predicted heavy rain arrives later today. Early last week we were mowing through some very marshy backyards after the last big dump.

Soaked grass in Mittagong. Did a small lawn this mooring but too wet to do any more lawns.

Hope this rain goes soon, bloody retail therapy just cost me a motza, just bought a new rideon and now I can't pick it up as the roads are flooded between me and my mower. Will have to wait a week possibly. Bugger

Hi Joanne here in Sydney a couple of years back we had the Waragamba dam down to from memory around 28% the gov hit the panic stations and built a desalination unit costing millions that we are all paying off with water bills and now the dam is overflowing and we don't need the desalination but we still have to pay for it LOL
Hey I was wondering what conection you had to lawnmowing did you and hubby have a lawnmowing business in the past?
    Cheers Dean

Just spoke to my parents out at griffith. I believe you have had up to five inches of rain. No wonder the roads are under water. Hope it goes down fast so you can pick up the new mower.
