I should correct my previous post.....that should read 200 points (50mm) not 200mm......however we're up to 100mm now. Went to check a big block clearing job I was meant to do today (has to be done by Monday before the construction crews arrive).....and it was half under water....

Heaps of flash flooding near me... the car up the road had its wheels completely submerged and local shops carpark is getting interesting..
The rain basically hasn't stopped all day and quite heavy.
It will be a few days before it dries up around here when it stops but i'm enjoying the time off.
Simmo.
20mm in 7 minutes around my place at lunchtime, were the lawn not a bit lower than the paving and then the house entrance not being slightly raised, would have flooded the house.
Anyone want to give me a hand to get this Ark built
Ajd, I just woke up any work today??? The sun came out for a little bit
But the grounds are soaked
Greenie I am hoping to get out the door in about 1 hours time
Hasnt rained here for a couple hours but its looking black. I got a couple with sandy soil so if it hasnt rained in half hour will do them and see what happens after that..
Great that the rain is falling here too.
Lost some income for the week due to it today though, but hey just got the BAS done and cheque written for the ATO which ='s less stress tonight as I don't have to worry about doing it tonight now.
Count down now on to Sat arvo for my NSW/VIC Alpine motor bike ride with 6 other bikes coming up from Geelong/Torquay, we are staying at quaint little hotels and Golf Clubs, including one night at Mallacoota.
Spoke to The Greek Gods of Rain this arvo and asked for very little to no rain fall between Sat Arvo and Wednesday, just to help out my fellow mowing friends.
Cheers Garry
what do you ride,? good luck with the weather
