Was listening to an ABC weather segment earlier today where it was reported that an El Nino weather pattern is developing.
Modelling suggests that from mid July we will be entering into a drier than normal weather phase with a long dry Spring & Summer predicted.
Going to be a complete reversal from all this rain we're getting in my neck of the woods this winter.

Next week might be the last rain for a while if that's the case.
Was reading a forecast on Bookface earlier from the guys at South Brisbane Storms which basically said major rain event possible for most of Eastern Australia next week with anything from 25 to 100mm in some areas.
Looks like it's here. Rain all up and down the East Coast for the next four days.

More rain here yesterday (Saturday) and have not really seen the Sun for the last week. My footpath and grassed areas in driveway are turning to mush just like mud coming up through the grass. Going to need some serious lawn repair here come Spring.
More than one use for loading ramps. Been trying to do this job for 3 weeks, got bogged twice but it's done.....yay.

Well done BT. My zero has had 1 job in the last 6 weeks. Grass has stopped growing here. Will have to do a few hours around my own place next week just to brush the cobwebs off it.
Have had 43mm here in the last week, but fine today and looking like a good fine week ahead. Just waiting for the paddocks to dry out a bit this morning, then flat out through the weekend cutting firewood to catch up again.
