14deg & 30kph wind gusting to 50kph here. That's bad enough for me to pull the sign down for this week.
EKKA wind.........
Sideways rain here this afternoon and evening. Wind that you can hear in the trees in the distance many minutes before it hits.
That, and it's frickin' cold outdoors.

From all reports i see we are in for a nighmare summer here in Sydney, very dry, hot and very limited rain.
The US just experienced their hottest July ever and more than half the country experienced drought conditions.

Its been a wet wet season and more to come down here in South east burbs of Melbourne.....i havent passed on so many wet lawns of late and lucky our soil is sandy around here in Dingley but you guys in Berwick/cranbourne north how do the hell you make a living mowin at this time of the year....At my daughters place in berwick springs couldn't even get any landscaping done......with all the drainage i put in I still need to install more for the health of the plants...saw a contractor across the road on his fancy z turn showing off untill he slid down the hill and bogged it..geez that was funny to watch....
This season reminds me of what it was like mowing in the 90's where weeks would go by with no mowing lol.....They say theres a el nino comming yeah well bring it on so we can mow hehehe...
