I need to vent about this bloody wind we are having in Melbourne. To say I'm over it is an understatement. I've never seen weather like this in Melbourne I think I'd rather work in the rain than put up with this relentless gusts of wind, it makes every job you attempt a total P.I.T.A.
Ok three deep breaths feeling slightly better or is that my third stubby kicking in!!

i don't mind it as long as
    1/ it's not raining
2/ I'm not near any big trees
3/ I'm not trying to blow in the opposite direction
4/ I'm not trying to do anything but mow

Looks to be dry up this way for the next ten days.

It would be nice to have a weekend drench for 24 to 36 hours, just after I knock off for the week. Coupled with the warmer weather it would be so good for everyone... Pretty gardens, tender soil - so easy for enthusiasts to plant and especially to wake up some of the older purpling buffalo species.

    Cheers - GardenGuy.

It was blowing a gale at blacktown tip yesterday. Very dusty. Has mother nature lost the handle for the tap that waters sydney. The ground is cracking open all over the place.

I hear you Kathryn. No rain in sight either. We have only had 9mm of rain since mid July. I have noticed some lawns are browing off already.

Spent the last 4 hours of today at an orchid farm getting on top of things before it goes off. I tell you, I can see why he supplies so many retailers. Awesome place to spend an afternoon on a day like this and get paid for it.
