It was Mild here... rain drops for 15 mins and the lawns are already dry

just seen the damage it caused near you with hail and 100K's winds... amazing considering it is only about 10 k's away and would be lucky to be 15k's winds here!

maybe the calm before the storm.

That happened to me today also... got sweat into the eyes and it bl00dy stung for a good 5 mins! didn't know what to do so i rubbed my eyes with my shirt sleeve and must have had dust so my eyes started to water and then nose started to run... It was a strange sensation.

Lucky I haven't had a heat rash this season... gee, i hate them with a passion.

I had the same problem with the eye sweating today.
Until the massive storms hit town in Strathfield.
Ran to the truck for cover and the storm stopped within 5 minutes... Grass was dry within 10 minutes too.

It's our turn tomorrow & Saturday Kathryn. 20-40mm forecast each day. Gee's I hope so. Have only mowed 1 lawn this week. It's only gardening keeping me going ATM.

Not a single damn drop of rain here. Wish those storms would come a bit closer to us. Our backyard is rapidly turning into a dustbowl.

This weather is strange... penrith has hail and heavy rain and 100K winds earlier and basically nothing here (15 k's west) Kellyville has no rain (10 k's north).

steady light rain for past hour or so here and sounds like it going to set in for a while.

12mm overnight, better than a poke in the eye with burnt stick

A noise outside woke me at 1am this morning so I got up and looked out the window. There was this stuff falling from the sky that looked like water. Hmm...... let me think, oh yes, If I recall the stuff is called rain. RAIN, RAIN. Almost forgot what it looked like it's been so long. Hopefully this will be enough to kick start some grass growing. I'm getting very bored sitting at home every day because there's not enough work for two people let alone one. Mark's only doing half days at the moment.
