Started here about 2.00am, steady light to moderate rain.....up to about 30mm and looking at the radar there's rain all the way up the coast and it's all heading this way.

All is good here where i am. No sleep though. Got very wild here from midnight on. Would be expecting a hell of a lot more damage around the place this morning. My prediction is that it will exceed 2010-2011 flood heights. You won't hear about any of that since its moved to a more populated area. Same as last time lol. On the upside, No customers in the floodzone this time.

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
Amanda has been talking to her parents in ***ndah this morning. If anyone knows the big 'new' concrete bridge there across the Burnett River, the water is lapping it and still rising.
EDIT: Gees can't even write G.a.y.ndah!
Not much sleep here either Neil. Up every 30 to 60 minutes during the night emptying buckets.
186mm that's close to how much we've had since the middle of September and 9x the amount since the middle of December
please read next post down

Haven't bothered to check the gauge here,it's overflowing.Just waiting for the winds to start up. The in-laws sustained some damage last night up in Burrum Heads but all safe.

Ended up with 186mm here for the 24 hrs and still raining heavily. None of the wild winds here like on the coast.
God's country I tell ya.
430 mm in my guage since it started early thursday morn.
It took 140mm to soak the ground and start running.
Over 800mm in 4 days for Gladstone!
