Lol haha, did someone say rum??
Yes rum That's where I'm heading soon I think. Need some to drown my sorrows. Brand new stupid clothes dryer keeps cutting out too. Had enough. Just mowed my front couch lawn here and it didn't come up too bad so that's a plus I guess!
I just bought some rum too oh so nice
This little black duck is throwing back a few Scotch and cokes.. mmmm nice and I sound so good on the guitar arfter a few...
Thanks Jason
I honestly can't believe the growth rate around here at the moment... went past a lawn today that i did on Tuesday morning... the wife said from the bottom of her heart that i'm not cutting low enough. So i drove to my last job yesterday (2.30pm... when the rain started) and said is that low enough... Point taken!
I'm happy that i got 4 1/2 full days of mowing in this week though!!!
I am really hoping for dry weather tomorrow... i've now got 17 jobs due for tomorrow from yesterday afternoon and todays rain... the wife has actually offered to help for the first time this season... she must know it is gonna rain
Just drinking beer atm (pure blonde for a change)... can't afford to get tanked on the hard stuff... that's for tomorrow night out on the town lol
Simmo.
Thursday arvo was a washout from 16:30, and was booked until 19:00. Ugh. Today was a dead loss. Wet as. Now, I have a backlog.
I had planned a day off with my wee lad on Monday, but that is postponed so that I can catch up on work.
Thems the breaks, as they say.
Cheers - GardenGuy.

Still raining, around 100mm in the gauge and bucketing down. Be no mowing for me until at least Monday. Monday is fully booked (actually all week is fully booked) but somehow I have to fit yesterday's full day and today's 1/2 day in. as well.......and the wife wants to go down to Sydney next weekend.
73mm here for the 24 hrs. That's on top of 277mm for Feb and a total of 650mm in just over a month from Australia Day.
The ground is saturated.
I thought I was pretty smart yesterday when I pulled out of a ZTR job just in time to avoid getting drenched. Then I got bogged here at home trying to get the gear to my shed. Spent the next hour in the rain getting un-bogged.
Just headed into town for the Saturday morning in the wife's cafe, water over the road, had to come back and get the 4wd......got into town to find they were about to close the Old Bar Rd......deciding we didn't want to be stuck in Taree for the weekend we closed the shop and came home. Reached the water over the road and there was a P-plated car off the road with water up to doors.......hit the water at speed doing a "splash thru" and found out all about aquaplaning. Water was about 150mm deep flowing across the road.
