Love a good thunderstorm. I remember pulling up at the servo on Mt Ousley (just north of Wollongong) around midnight 13-14 years ago as there was a huge thunder storm at sea. The light show was awesome. 5-6 other cars had pulled up as well.

Yes the concentrate from the supermarket, make up about 1.25 ltrs and also have a frozen water along side, man banana's help with electrolyte losses also, watch the tennis and see them eating banana's etc, as we get older the heat affects us/me too easy, fatigue can make you be forgetfull> tripping over>gastro= ratsh1t. Humidity is my enemy if I'm not carefull.

Yep, I use the concentrate and also buy premixed Maximus, when on special at united 2 for $6 at the moment. 7/11 sell bananas for $1 each at the counter also, so been getting those on occasion also.

Just be aware that if you use it everyday you get a build up in your body of salts. It's ok for the younger crew but once you get into your late 40's you need to keep track of this. I have a mate who is logger and he drank Gatorade everyday. Had a blood test 12 months ago and was told to cut way back on his sodium intake. Dr asked him what he used salt on, just on his dinner, Dr then asked him if he drank any sports drinks which he told the Dr yes. Dr told him to stop drinking it, or at least cut right back as this is what is causing the high Sodium levels. He had a blood test last week and his Sodium levels are back to normal. He stopped drinking Gatorade, just drinks water and eats 2 bananas a day when working in the bush.

Over thunder storms, just lately they have arrived overnight, keeps you awake. Glad I don't have to get up and go to work after staying awake most of the night. You poor buggers LOL

The whole bottled water, sport drink and vitamin industry is a big waste of money if you ask me. If you want sugar drinks add cordial to water. If you want the sodium eat some salt. If you want water get it from the tap. Spend the money you save on fresh quality aussie fruit/veg/meat and your on a winner. Thamk you, I'll get back off the pedestal now.
