Anyone good at guessing when the next dry spell will be. In suburban Victoria i'll take a guess and say 2019/2020. Anyone else have a formula or opinion on when we'll get it here in Vic?
So over the rain. We have a dry spring and a dry summer and autumn, Now we are getting raibned on something fierce. All just goes to stopping you working. Need to have the rain but at least give it to us when it is an advantage

It's cleared for now, supposed to hit again tonight and tomorrow, however a little less than what we have received since Monday.
current moisture leaves in the soil will means 8 months of fortnightly mowing, and thats without anymore rain.
Current moisture levels means I will be mowing with a tinnie.
Cheers astro.
Its a tad wet and windy here. How useless is this bloody government here when a storm can put the entire states power network offline. Everyone was wandering around like headless chooks eating by candle light. Not me. Pulled the 4 kva gen set out of the shed and flashed her up.
Only place around I could see that had power. Sat down for dinner watching the news on TV. Power outage. What power outage. People in this state are so unprepared for stuff like this. Hate to see them in a cyclone when they could lose power for days

well Bluey our useless Andrews gov is shutting down the coal plant in morwell actually it provides 25% of our power and there will be 1000 jobs lost plus the knock on effect..why would you not provide an alternative power source ( i say nuclear ) before you shut down 25 % of our power ..fair dinkum numnuts lol ...I know there were so many power stations knocked down but how do you get most power back on in a small amount of time....something fishy there....the future looks bleak with unplanned changes...
