Funny thing is here in Adelaide it is the greenest summer I have ever seen. We have a had a few big storms and the humidity we have had has made the grass geow like no end. I have clients on weekly mows. Unheard of before in Adelaide in summer unless they spend a ****load on water

And at 4pm Sydney time the missus decides to fry up some chicken for later on......WTF!!!
Same here in Melb Bluey, I can't recall a greener summer.
My own lawns are as lush & green as possible & I haven't been watering them for that reason.
We have 10,000 litres of tank water but no restrictions on mains water.
When we had water restrictions in Melb, 10,000 litres struggled to water my block of 900m2, both lawns & garden beds over summer.
We only water our garden beds atm & the tanks easily keep up with that.
I love it when its green!
Cheers Fred.
Cold in Melbourne today, only 17 degrees, was still meant to be summer last time i looked. Growth just starting to back off.
never ending rain in Sydney!almost every day the last 3weeks!what happened to El Niño?
El nino is like death and taxes. Just around the corner.
I still clearly remember the last 10 year drought.
El Nino can stay away as far as I am concerned.
Much prefer La Nina, she is much more pleasant. Mind you we haven't had much rain here for the last 2 or 3 months.
We've had nothing but rain since the early February. From the 8th of February to now we've had over 500mm of rain, 128mm this afternoon so far and still going. I started off on Monday a week behind and have only managed 2 full days plus a couple of hours today before being rained out again.
And of course when the sun is out everyone expects u there asap to mow as only their lawn is long
