Positively bloody cold here now. Just walked the dog and my ears were starting to hurt from the cold wind blowing. Unbelieveable considering it was only a couple of days ago we had 40 plus degrees. Go figure

Really cool here today. Thought it was going to rain but other than a few spits nothing. Dry as a dead dingoes here too. I worked in a garden all afternoon that is on a bore and gets as much water as it needs. Such a lovely thing to have is a bore.

    Hi Guys,
We are on flood alert here today. No mowing here. Last week the lawns were all dying. We've had nearly 500mm since Friday. This is our back paddock.....and it is still raining heavily and not looking like letting up. Shannon

hot and dry in melbourne at the moment most lawns stopped dying about 3-4 weeks ago now there just dead even the dandylions are dried up and near death so can you people up north please put your fans outside and face them south see if you can blow some of that rain down to us
p.s 500 mm since friday is a bit more than we would like unless it's over the cathments or the fires
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
