Well we have got the best rain for ages. Up to 80mls in some places. Rained pretty much since Friday and is still going. Been getting some really heavy showers today. Water has really soaked into the ground well. In a gap in the rain I took the dog for a quick walk. Heard the sound of the gutters running full bore into the side entry pits. Haven't heard that for a while. Not working though just some quotes to do to day and have some inside work lined up for the next two days which is good as they reckon it will still be raining. But it has got cold. It was up in the hills yesterday and it was 6 degrees. Brrrrrrrrrr

u are so lucky bluey we have had only 6 mm and maybe might get another 6 , they way things are going the desal plant cant come online quick enough...we are moving water around the dams at present because of the water quality..I think bottle water sales will go through the roof here as water quality in the reduced dam capacity is a concern...we are heading below 28 % and they things are going i think we are up the creek with NO water

    Hey Geoff

I think they are saying this is on the way over to you guys. I hope so because it sure sounds like you need it. They were saying on the radio today this is the best fall of rain in 3 yrs. Starting to ease up a bit now but still getting a few heavy showers once in a while. I will keep my fingers crossed for you guys.

Glad to hear you have had some rain, we have just had a heap of wind here, gale force, lots of trees down. Spent all day cleaning up customers yards, could be at it all week if I had the time.

But on the upside we have had some really good rain so much so I am getting sick of wet grass too but not as much as you Simo. Maybe you should open a sideline with bottled water. Could call is Simo's Sparkling Springwater

Well it look's like all of victoria going to get a good drink.
Forecast from rain to hail & snow.
We might have a wet winter after all.
Or is it just a tease?
