And happy birthday Geoff, have a good night. I like my reds and that 707 sounds real nice.
We got some good rain yesterday arvo and last night. I had a couple handyman jobs yesterday morning and was planning on getting a few lawns done on the run back home. I was driving up the road watching the storm building thinking I will get at least one in. Got it half done and down she come. So much for that so I did a couple ofquotes on the way home.
Rained all night pretty steady and was still hanging about at daylight this morning so I decided to do a few more quotes that had come in yesterday and by about 1000 hrs it was starting to fine up. Did a medium weeding job and a couple of lawns and 3 more quotes that I got over the phone as I was driving around.
Doing a lot of quoting in the last few days so hopefully they will turn into some extra work.

It's so dry here, grass crackles when you walk on it. The f1-11's were doing dump and burns above me this morning and I was imagining they were busting the clouds up to give us some rain but no they scared the clouds away instead.
Even with all the rain we have had the ground is still dry. Time to start looking at dripper timers for summer as with a few more hot days things will start to die off quick

Belting down...you little ripper. Massive storms with lots of lightning and thunder and really good rain. Had a big job on this morning and we could see it coming. First day for my new offsider and I worked him hard to beat the rain. He stood up to the pace well. Just finished in time and only got a little bit wet on the final clean up. It has been bucketing down since. It is dark as out side almost like night

Very windy and the odd shower in Perth, every time its like this i can't help thinking about Freya Hoffmesiter the lady paddling around Australia by kayak, it must be hard going .
There was this clear liquid falling out of the sky at about 5 this arvo! I just stood there and watched it for about 15minutes. I think the grass was going from brown to green while I watched.
still very dry here in Sydney, rain needed desperately to kick those lawns along, getting some hot days, but with no moisture not much good.
I must say I enjoyed dusting the cobwebs off the sprinkler and letting that run, haven't done that in years.
Good storms again today. Yesterday we got 20 mm in an hr and they are forecasting 10 to 30 mm today and tonight. Good spring start
