Last week lawns were looking alright in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide . This week they r going brown and crunchy. As Lockie said it was good while it lasted , still got a list of extras to do.

I have a display install tomorrow so we are in the air con for most of the day and won't do anything other than that job but I have two big garden clean ups scheduled in for this week. Looks like really early starts for these and stuff the neighbours. If we can knock them over before mid afternoon we will be ok. They are forecasting 37 but I am tipping it will hit closer to 40.

Health is no1 priorirty. I did 6 lawns today and that was it. i get a serious heat rash and I feel like my body will self combust any second.. Stuff the $$$$$$$, i have ended up in ICU a while ago through dehydration and will not do it again. By 1.00pm, I am done...
TLG, i find i can keep them until x-mas at least and then often 30% or so of the new clients tend to go back to old ways after x-mas and dont cut it for another 6 months plus
Anyone else starting before 7am in this weather? I have select clients who even encourage me to get it done early, just have to worry about the neighbours but leave that to my offsider - ex bouncer and wrestler

We just had the same........34and 38 and then all but 1ml of our average rain for Nov inside 24 hrs and 15 degrees. At my place in Forest Hill (Melb) we had 68ml. Needed flippers and snorkle to get accross the back lawn to my beer fridge in the garage!!
unbelievable rain storm this arvo in the south burbs of Melbourne , radar screen red indicating heavy rain , ( i use a weather radar on my mobile to check out the rain ) lucky for me i finished really quickly and then it came , so much rain it filled the back of the ute and flooded the mowers didnt have to wash them down after that
Lots of trees down around here, plus i need my flippers and snorkel again
yep my place lots of lightning and thunder and got aprox 26mm one crack of thunder right above my place even made me jump and the cat sh*t that hard nearly turned himself inside out

Sydney just had it hottest November in 40 years and lowest rainfall in 26 years. It rained last night and its still wet now at 9am. Hope its enough to get things growing
