You getting soft in your middle age Geoff?

Seen some of the big operators doing the council sub contract work today they were fighting over who was going to whipper around under the shady trees. Poor buggers looked stuffed, we were lucky to be finished by 1 pm, geez i love those commercial jobs where you can make your quota by lunch.

Don't know why you would do it. I gave the offsider a day off and I have just done a heap of quotes with the air con running full bore and have just got home.

41 degrees it's to hot i can't even be bothered doing quotes
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Thats plain stupidity, we're expecting 37 tomorrow, so I'll do a couple in the morning then probably declare the bar open.

Andy and Alec worked like madmen at my place today...I kept going out to check they were still alive.

Believe me they deserve every cent they earned today!

I am amazed at what they achieved, especially considering the heat...it's 4.30pm and still 42 degrees out there.

Apparently being from QLD means you cope better in the heat. I got heatstroke just thinking about working in this heat.

All the Victorians were at home with their ACs or in their airconditioned cars or offices. There was nobody out and about when I went shopping today.

Sounds like you blokes are all getting soft. I'm buying you all dresses when your Birthdays come around. Any preference for colour ? High vis yellow perhaps?

Joking aside for a minute you really do need to look out for dehydration and heat stroke in this heat. I am dazed and confused even on cooler days so with me its hard to tell when its happening .

Wonder how Dean got on with all that hedging today?

Softies! pace yourself and keep an eye on your watch, I made sure we had a drink every half hour at least.

I had to keep up with Alec today (my father inlaw), didn't believe I was going to pull the plug first.

Joanne, like I said I had to go slow on that beer, it really wasn't going to touch the sides.

I think I have to get the temp guage in my car checked it said outside temp was 47!

    Going to be cooler tomorrow!

I'll be a native on Thursday once I get my VIC licence and plates... well sort of.

Only meant to be 31 tomorrow, I'd never heard of train lines being shut down because of the heat until today.
