a trip to the tip to unload then a quote and 4 lawns unfortunately i was supposed to do another 2 lawns and try to finish a garden clean-up which i will have to weather permitting still get done this week
i also replaced a blade on my multitool hedger attachment ,sharpened the other blade while i had it apart and sharpened the polesaw chain also did some book work and wasted time on the internet
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
hey admin is there anyway to get the page numbers on this thread into 2 lines instead of 1 ridiculously long line

Ballina going to be fine all week & up to 25oC grow grass grow..
....Nothing like a good whipper....
I'm a bit sick of all this rain in cranbourne. We have had record amounts. A lot of the lawns I've turned up to in the last 3 weeks have been so water logged ya cant mow them without leaving tracks from the wheels deep enough to drive a train on.
Went out to do my run today and after the 5th place that I couldn't mow packed it in and went to vic roads to do a trailer rego transfer. That is just a whole different story. Thank God it is finally done, if I have to deal with them again in the next couple of months I might not make it through.
Hearing you loud and clear Cranbourne, my local pizza guys asked me last night if I mow when it's wet. I replied of course. He said but doesn't it damage the grass, and I said well if your blades are sharp and it's not too boggy it should be fine. He looked at me strangely so I said put it this way if I didn't mow wet grass I would barely of mowed a lawn in the past 3 or so months.
And another thing, at least we can decide when it's too wet to work, imagine being told you've gotta work when it's wet. Being your own boss you get to make the decision, cold wet and cranky I'm probably going home, cold and wet but not cranky I'm probably going to keep going so long as it's safe.
Cheers
