"All sin is washed away in the Holy goodness of Beer"
Book of Redeye, Psalm 69
Well I will reckon they will wait till it happens then get 150 normal citizens together as an advisory group and give them 12 months to work out a contingency plan. In the mean time they will place a sea level tax on everyone to fund the proposed changes to come.
But they will start a incentive whereby anyone affected by the rising sea level can get a rebate on glass bottom kayaks built in China. These will be shipped Australia wide but wont have bungs or paddles included so the scheme will sink halfway through after a few people drown.
They will then realise that the Navy and Customs are mistaking too many of these people for illegal immigrants so they will ban the sale and use of kayaks completely. After they get this sorted out they will start charging higher land tax to the new waterfront property owners and bang in no fishing areas because people have started fishing from their front verandahs.
Because so many people cannot now sell these houses due to the rising sea level the Government will compulsorily acquire them and give them to the real boat people so they can tie their boats up out the front and feel at home. These boat people will then turn all the houses into waterfront rentals for Japanese tourists and get a Government grant to do it.
These now very wealthy ex boat people will buy lots of property in the dry parts of the city and employ the former house owners as servants to assist with their wealthy lifestyle. They and their offspring will get jobs in all levels of Government so they can work out ways to bring the entire population of their home countries out here to share in the bounty that is on offer.
There you go. Reckon that will be policy soon.

Now back to the weather. Tomorrow should be ?
Busy!
I swear to somebody we have gone from the middle of winter to flat out. What is going on!
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
Work aside, it's still bl00dy cold if you ask me! That wind down here is shocking, sports day at school today, wonder how many kids are going to be sick while on holidays next week.
Same over here Andy. Fine while your working but you cool down quick. Get sick of putting the jumper on and off. Caught my first cold in 3 years this week. Reckon this had a lot to do with it.

Not real sure Mark. Eat lots of veggies, garlic and onions and citrus. I don't follow any regime though. I used get the flu about 3 or 4 times a year when I worked in an office but most of my life I have been outside. I reckon staying busy is a big plus.
I try to stay away from kids too as they are walking flu factories. That's how I got this bout. Oh and rum. Yes I did get your email. I thought I had replied but had not. Did just now.

Get your flu shots. My daughter and I got both(general flu & swine flu)shots earlier this year and have not had a sniffle ,my wife didn't and copped a dose of swine flu. The only reason she got tested for swine flu was because she asked for it when she went to the doc.She had all the symptoms but he was hesitant to test stating there had been no cases but sure enough the test came back positive,it took her about a month to get over it completly

This Vic weather is a pain in the arse for spaying we have probably had two suitable days in the last three weeks or four weeks it rains then stops then rains then stops etc i guess on the flipside the grass is growing flatout,....
I've been telling customers I have "spray days", days when the conditions are good and I go from property to property just doing the spraying. So far I think I've only had one.
Vic weather has thrown me, the other day I was complaining it was a little hot, it was 20 degrees... just 7 months ago I wasn't complaining when it was double that. Will have to start the suncream applications again soon too I guess.
Forcast 27 here today, already that and as muggy as hell. Storms likely later today. Only good thing about that is the grass is growing like wildfire. Managed to get down to around 20 degrees last night. Winter finished an age ago it seems. Glad I am not in Townsville any more, could be a hot one.
Knocked over 3 lawns and a 4 hour cleanup and just as I was finishing for the day the heavens opened up,wouldn't suprise me if we had a couple of inches in 1/2 an hour
