Tried to do 1 lawn this morning, and it was just slosh another 26mls of rain last night, water is just sitting on the ground now and not getting away away.
sun is out, but can not mow, hopefully we have seen the end of the rain for awhile.

A resident of Toowoomba recieved 263 mls of rain in 24 hour period
QUEENSLAND'S long flood drama rapidly turned worse in just an hour yesterday, as heavy rains and flash flooding savaged Toowoomba, with four people confirmed dead and dozens more missing.
The Queensland Premier Anna Bligh said many of the state's residents were in a "very desperate and grim situation". Grave fears were held for more than 40 people in the valley town of Grantham, most of whom were thought to have gathered in the primary school, cut off by fast-flowing floodwaters.
An information hotline has been set up for relatives and friends of people affected by flooding in the Toowoomba, Murphy's Creek, Grantham and Withcott. The number is 1300 993 191.

112mm here during the night. That will keep me home until at least Thursday.
Expecting another 80-100mm this afternoon the helidon evacuation centre is being evacuated. And it goes on...
My Thoughts are going out to all people in Qld doing it hard with the floods and i hope all our indy mates up there are safe and sound
Finally had a stinking hot sunny day here and even got to cut a few dry lawns after lunch. It's a shame they were all overgrown.

Hope you are all ok up there.
My wife has rellies in Toowomba. Her aunt's house went under and she spent the night on the roof. Her hubby works in town and was cut off and could not get home. I guess they were lucky in some respects. I fear the death toll will jump up rapidly pretty soon.

Finally got onto some lawns today. This one should be the worst although a lot of the others look almost as bad.
We finally get a few fine days, and now I can't buy any fuel until the roads to the coast open.
dang fellas, i feel for all of you down there being affected by the world known flooding.
be safe guys, dont mow anything stupid and risk your lives.
