Yep, very hot and humid. Was going to do a development up in Coomera but with the heat I thought otherwise and did a few more local props. 2hrs slogging it out walking on asphalt out in a heat sink didnt really do it for me!
ended up with 125mls of rain this arvo and still drizzling. Back to mowing slop.

Hi Guy's, Our harts go out to you We are all thinking of you in QLD. Up here in Darwin the monsoon rain's been makeing mowing tuff but we getting there at least we dont have the floods to deal with so where lucky hay. I use a Honda buffalo 21in self propelled it's good but heavy or wet grass is a pain for it, some time's i wish i had got the Rover Pro Cut 560 self propelled I heard there better for tuff and wet stuff! any one useing one?
It looks like Townsville missed out on a visit from cyclone Anthony that was bearing down towards us earlier this weekend...now we're waiting to see what happens to cyclone Yasi later in the week - it looks a lot more ominous. No doubt we'll be getting more rain associated with these cyclones...

Doesn't look like TC Yasi is going to bugger off.
One of my mates sent me this link.I'm no weather geek but could that be another one spinning up east of Yasi?

do you guys still have flooding? has the waters receeded yet on most areas?
The Herald/Sun in Melb has also posted Cylcone Yasi info online and my goodness it looks fearful and to be a monster of all TC's.
You guys and gals up nth are used to this type of stuff.
But this one looks bad, hope you can through this one in tact.
I'm not a waetherman, but a TC would scare me big time.
Good Luck all up North and take care.
Cheers Garry
