It was only about 13deg here on the Goldy! Grey and overcast. First time I ever used the heater in the ute between jobs. I know, chew some concrete!
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
Supposed to be 11degs here today but with the wind chill it was probably more like 7 or 8. Worked on an exposed southerly site from 10 until 4.30 so I have a nice case of windburn on my lips, nose and cheeks. Started growing a beard for the winter so the rest of my face is not too bad!!!
I stand corrected. Local news just said our max here today was 7.4 degs. Coldest July maximum on record since records started. I don't even want to think what the wind-chill temp was...
Edit: Should have said June above obviously. I think the brain is still thawing.
So...there is an advantage to being sick and running a fever. I have hardly noticed the cold for the last week. The few lawns I have mowed this week have made me sweat like it was summer, mmmmmmmmm suuuuuummmmerrrr. Bring it on!
Lots of rain this week and the lawns are growing so slow its like there in suspended animation.
Just speaking to a relative of mine in Glen Innes in NSW. Minus 10 last night.
Cheers

Too bloody good in Melbourne!
Sunny days, top of 17 and not a breath of wind.
Enjoyed my bread rolls for lunch in the sun amongst what is now a fairly neat garden and watching the willie wag tails picking out worms from the freshly hoed ground......should have done this years ago.
