What!!, Lunch, you had time for lunch and whilst in the sun watching nature's little featherie creatures - Enjoy.
I carry buttered bread and a squeeze bottle of tomatoe sauce sometimes when I leave home when I have thoughts of getting $4 of hot chips. But one has to lean forward when muching away, as you don't want to turn up at your next client with sauce stains on your hi vis shirt front.
    Cheers Garry

Try doing lawns with snot hanging in your mow. I have have had a cold for the last 2 weeks and I have to keep going for take away just to get serviettes. Driving me nuts and thank god I have managed to clean myself up before any customers have seen the mess hanging on my face.

I know the feeling. I keep a box of tissues in the vehicle as my nose runs constantly in the cold weather.

Was talking to a nursery in Tasmania today near Launceston and they were having a lovely day with a maximum of about 5 degrees!

I am so glad I can do indoor work in winter and push the lawns back a bit. Makes a big change to spend a couple days inside rather than every one in the cold.
    Cheers

    Bluey,

20/06/2011, 8.31pm and Radar along with Doppler radar for the "City of Churches" looks bleak.
How's the wind, as over in our way we are expecting it around midnight-ish.
Looks like a day off tomorrow, sleep in and a cooked breaky later on, on a no income day.
    Cheers Garry

Expecting winds of 90kms or higher gusts.
Better go out and bolt the Retriver's kennel down to the concrete. Don't want it blowing/flying away with him in it.

    Cheers Garry

Well it blew a bit last night. Not that bad where I am but other areas got hit. Was raining a fair bit today so I brought a couple of display installs forward from next week and went for a trip down to Victor Harbour and Goolwa. Cold wet and belting down it was for most of the day.
    Cheers

Poor bugger. If I put Tash in a kennel she would kill me. She has her own bed inside with a lecky blanket because she is old.

Yer, similar here Blue. My old girl sleeps on a dogs bed, over the heater duct, with a blanket, & the dog sleeps in the Kennel
    Cheers Fred.

Lovely day here today. From 1 to 16 degrees today. The North-Westerly wind today was worth a couple of degrees on the maximum I think.

My 23kg Golden Retriver who just loves to show us all his new super white chompers. Would self destruct our house if he was to sleep in.

So he has his big plastic kennel 3ft from the family room's top to bottom windows. Facing towards the house so he can look in and not get direct wind draughts.
He is inside up to our bed time or until he goes mental and starts chewing with his new chompers.
At the moment we are being as kind as to him, as he was des*xed yesterday. Glad it stormed up today, so I could be home and watching him whilst he was allowed indoors.
    Cheers Garry
