I reckon we are just now entering the recession following the GFC. People are reigning in their finances and being taxed to oblivion by the Judas B*tch and state governments does not help. The sooner we get rid of Gillard the Dullard the better

what i love about the co2 debate is that we are told we must lower our CO2 emissions to stop global warming but they don't seem to want to mention that China is increasing it's emissions every year by more than we produce in a year so if we closed down all industry and stopped all co2 production with in 12 months on a global scale it would make no difference to co2 emissions if you also add in the increases from India,U.S.A and Russia it is probably closer to 6 months
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

I've been a Labour voter all my life....but they gotta go.
This is probably not the forum for a discussion on global warming but I think it's just another con for tax. Australia will have very little impact on the overall co2 output if you believe this blog.

    Just my 2 cents.

Mostly a labour voter all my life too but this is absolutely another con for tax. Just like the GST. Truth is we can't keep pumping increasing amounts of CO2 and other poisonous gases into the air but seriously a carbon tax is not going to make any difference other than to increase the already high cost of living for teh average Mr and Mrs Joe Blo.

What I found convenient was that Labor finally realeases the CO2 Tax details right before Parliament goes into a 5 week recess (read tax-payer funded break) so no one has a chance to grill them over it and then Buzzard, sorry, Gillard decides to tour the country to spread her goodwill and listen to the people!

Unfortunately the soft ground is exactly what we need to get ready for a good spring. If the moisture stays in it and more keeps coming when the weather heats up (normally about mid/end sept) then good times will be there for all!!!

Finally getting a good bit of sun over here. Like Jayk said in another thread the bloody weeds have gone rampant. I have spent a hell of a lot of time this week just weeding. But on the good side picked up 4 new reg customers due to it. Been cold though.

After showers all week today in Melbourne was cool but sunny. Same again tomorrow.
Getting out tomorrow to make hay while the sun shines....so they say.

Absolutely @#$% house weather for grass growth, but these slightly windy sunny days are perfect for drying clothes on the line.
Hmmm Clothes washing and day time TV man I can’t wait for spring lol.

I wish some of it would move up here. We are badly in need of rain. Lawns are not growing at all and buffalo lawns are looking anything from crap to dead. At least the couch is still a sort of green. The main thing giving a green tinge to my place are the bindy and clover that is flourishing. Don't want to be spraying any of that in customers lawns as it is the only thing growing that needs to be mowed.
