Wow. Are these sort of things available here in Australia? Could be good for those looking for small ride ons to get thru gates. How much are these?
    Cheers

    Very nice..

i tested the V-Ride last week. thinking to get one. Its awesome, well balanced, great maneuver, good for slopes due to low centre gravity. International Mower wants $9800

Toro cost around $8500 from GYC since Dawn in Melbourne not interested to contact me.

Wow. All of these stand ons are dear. Only 36 inch cut for 8k+. You would need a lot of small gate jobs to pay for that.
Any advantage over a ztr? 30 inch ztr are around $4-$5k so a lot cheaper.
I didn't even know we had these machines in Australia so I don't know anything.
    Cheers

The $4k and $5k ztrs your thinking are home owner. The commercial 36 ztr is around the $8k. Going off that recent 36" ztr thread.
I dont think standers should cost more than a ztr though, maybe a few hundred or so cheaper for the lack of seat and one tank.

Id take a commercial stander over a home owner ztr any day.

doesnt seem to be much of a difference between the commercial ztr and the domestic

Seen a guy on a Toro Stand up last year, really cool to watch, very fast, but I dont think the knees would handle it after a while, especially if you are tall.

But I agree, I can not understand how they are worth more for less

I just ordered new Scag V Ride on friday.

i decided to get the V-Ride instead of the Grandstand because Scag has thicker material 7 gauge vs 10 gauge (i think)

now i need to sell either my Honda HRX217 or Husqvarna HU725.
