I wanna learn how to spit roast. I've made a fire tub out of an old laundry tub and I have bolted on the spit roast turnstile so ready to go. What I'd like to know is what is the best charcoal to use, most economical place to buy it. Also tips and tricks of a good spit roast. What is the best cut of meat to spit roast etc. Do you need a cover? Don't think I'm ready for a full pig or lamb but where to start?
