Default Thinking of moving state to South Australia

Hi all, been awhile, been busy. Don't know if this is the best post to put this, but here we go.

My wifes had enough of the weather in tassie and missing her sisters in South Australia. So we have been thinking of making the big move.

What l would like to find out is there much work in south Australia, starting or working for someone else.

I've done a deal with my boss for the next 2.5 years and l don't believe in breaking deals, so plenty of time to work out what to do.

At the moment l do renovation work for golf course, bowls green and ovals for the whole state for tas turf. Which is coring, verti draining, seeding, core harvesting and top dressing.

So any advice or questions would be helpfully

    Cheers Alan

Well that a hard one. Her 2 sisters just live outside of Adelaide at opposite ends. Last time l lived there was at woodside (kid).

I reckon it would be where the work is.

We will going over there next winter for 2 months and 2 weeks at christmas to look around

    Hi Alan,

Been in the industry 5-6 years now and the market is flooded with lawnies.

Since the drought ended there has been a steady growth of businesses both legitimate and beer bob. Seems to be more beer bobs of late though. Employment rate here is bad but in saying that there always seems to be new work coming it.

So there must be enough work for all.

TassieXJ, get you Boss to Market/tender in SA, then buy the SA part of the business off him when you move.

The funny thing is that before my wife decided she had enough of tassie, lm in talks with my boss for leasing the renovation side of the business.

On that note, does anyone know if there are people offering this kind of work

Well We went to the mainland for our look around and we have decided that next year we will be moving to Queensland, Yep Queensland.

We found that the warmer the weather was the better my wife health got, so now looking for a life change between brisbane and townsville.
