Default Time for ABBOTT to go

Major lack of business confidence and now looking at another recession that we can't afford to have,we still haven't fully recovered from U.S. going down and effecting most of the world.

Talking to most Australian's most don't want Labor after the last fiasco with Rudd and Gillard with grey shades of Shorten which leaves only one alternative to replace Abbott within the Liberal party.

Most were hoping Abbott would be like the Howard Govt with strong confident leadership but it hasn't happened so a change is due the sooner the better for us all

funny how no one will now admit to voting for him - l won't vote LNP anyway, but the alternative with Shorten is a mirror image...would like to see Turnball in charge of NLP, and Albanese or possibly Plibersek in with ALP
voted greens last time, thats how bad l find the whole lot

Current choice is like choosing between a beating with a baseball bat on the sole of your left foot or the sole of your right foot. .
Each is too painful to think about.
And apparently it does not be become any more tolerable with each beating.

I totally agree with the thread title but not about a recession looming.

Lol...do you really think Abbott is in charge of the Liberal party. Like all leaders of all parties he is a creature of the party. I voted for him because I thought he might do something about illegal immigration which he has and might also do something about trying to pull this country out of spiralling debt which is trying to do and sort out some of our dole bludgers which he has. It hard to get a budget through government when you have an opposition hell bent on rail roading everything.

Does not matter if you replaced Abbott the policies would remain the same. The only real alternative is Labour and I am damn sure I dont want them back in charge.

    SaveOurSouls from that!
The word I never want to hear from pollies is MANDATE! to do what they said AND usually things they would never let on beforehand.
They (all) need to learn to compromise and negotiate.

Both sides are hard to trust but we have to pick one... Like Bluey said it doesn't matter who is at the helm..

Liberal policy is try and be debit free and eventually we will prosper as a nation.

Labor policy is spend money, bang it on the credit card and let our kids and our kids kids deal with it. (Anyone ever had a big credit card bill will know that struggle lol)

USA like banging things on the credit card, its scary how much debit they have and what they pay in interest. Check this out, look at the Total Dept per Citizen. BTW this US debit clock is real time http://www.usdebtclock.org/

Yes lets bang it on the credit card and let our kids deal with it...

Agreed. Low Aussie dollar usually means more jobs.

I think he's a nice bloke, who's just a bit misunderstood. I also think people should give him a bit of slack, online bullying is a serious problem and if this continues there's a serious chance his feelings might be hurt. Wake Up Australia

Doesn't matter - heads or tails, (labour/liberal), it's the same crooked coin. Doesn't matter which side you bet on - the game is rigged and you're gunna loose.
Bluey summed it up pretty good though - no matter how good the intentions are, a flea has bugger all chance of steering the dog.
ADJ was spot on too - Little Johhny Howard leading the liberals , did a bloody good job of setting this country up financially, at a time when the rest of the world was going down the gurgler.
Rudd/Gillard Labor took that advantage and crashed it. Seems the Labor party only know how to spend. They have the party, and we pay for it.
    "Can't" is a dirty 4 letter word.
If someone says "Can't" , take the "T" off the end and brew it.
Sip on a mugfull, relax, and take a look at what you've got left to work with.
