    Default Toro adjustment help needed please

    Have to adjust these so they water the grass and not fence or the kids in the pool

    Where that hole is that's where a plastic key fits to adjust the spray,in what i can remember from 30 years ago

    The keyhole is there so you can lift the shaft exposing the nozzle.You can pull it up with a small hook if you don't have the correct tool.
    Its a very old model & (I think) you can adjust the arc by rotating the tabs on the top. You may have to loosen the centre screw slightly?
    Newer models have their adjustments sunken, in order to vandal proof them.
    The smaller screw is to fan the spray out of the nozzle, reducing its distance.

    Thanks for your replies. I think I have the key to lift up the centre, will let you know how i go

    BJ was correct in saying the key can also adjust the arc.
    I remember that on Hunter Pgp's that was the case.
