    Default Cowboys,

Hi guys i know we have been discussing this for a while,
though i have just started advertising again lost a few good clients in winter that sold up and moved and another couple strata jobs....I guess thats life,
Though i havent advertised in about 2 years, now i have been keeping my eye on the papers and gumtree and i have noticed that there is HEAPS of cowboys running around my area opening the tailgate on there cars and un folding crapped out mowers
and in my local paper there is 7 Companies advertising in my area, looks like it is going to be a tough season in sydney!
Getting flyers made up monday might have to do some door knocking..

Hey dude. Go the flyers but focus for another suburb that's in the higher household income bracket.
    Preferably a suburb near you.
Strathfield, concord etc are generally higher income earners.
    Also aim at the stratas.
Don't go near the real estates.
    Remember The cowboys don't last.
They give up after doing too much work for peanuts or the clients get rid of them due to a crap job.

Not really but if it happens enough you'd have to think it'll make waves eventually. If nothing else, it shakes them because I make it clear what I'm doing to the dodgy operators.

I've noticed an increase as well, so last week on Thursday I decided to count how many I went past, 23 in total. That doesn't count the guys with a mower stuffed in the boot that you can't see.

they say we shouldnt be worried, but i cant help but worry, you have all these guys running around doing lawns bringing the value down on the lawns makes it harder for us to make a living

Even tho the cowboys bring the price down, so does Their work quality.
The cowboys don't last as customers usually replace them with us.
I can't 'recall how many times customers complain about the quality their $20 cowboy dies and asks for a proper quote.
