    Default Toro MX 3450

Anyone got or used a Toro MX3450? Thoughts or ideas. Can't find a gravely dealer near me to but a ZT 34 from. So I am looking at the Toro.
Was going to but a Kubota Z122R 42 inch but it was too long for my trailer and would have to raise my mower tray that I have on the front of my trailer. So I am now looking at 34 inch mowers that are shorter.
    Cheers

one reason I looked hard at the graden 36" was it would fit on a 6x4 trailer - 1745mm long
the toro looks good, not sure about the engine - made in china re-badged loncin - but it looks a more commercial proposition than the zt with the fabricated deck (I think a fab'ed deck is a necessity)
have you looked at the ferris f50xt? might be worth considering or a compact pro, if you can get financing?

I've seen a dealer advertising Gravelys in Toowoomba hjl. Toowoomba Motorcycles & 4WD or something like that.

If your dicky knee can handle a stander, have a look at EVAN86's Toro Grandstand in Bundaberg. It's in the same price range as some of the other mowers you've been asking about and much more 'Commercial' than any of them.
I wish I wasn't so overloaded with boys toys already, or I would be snapping it up

Yeah I don't think my knee would handle the standers.

I'm fairly sure an MX4250 would firt on my 6x4. The MX4250 has a twin cylinder TORO engine (used to be kwakas) . I'd also love to hear from anyone who has one of the new toro engines.

Just checked the brochure, the MX4250 and the MX3450 are exactly the same length. There are loads of these MX4250's on the dealer showrooms around my area, I just haven't seen anyone with one yet or heard from anyone who has one.

I paid $5990 for mine in Warwick. Could have got one for $5700 In Toowoomba but the closer service was worth the $290 to me.
    Yeah new toy day.

Happy New Year to all at Indy.
Over the break I have been doing some mowing at my place with the MX 3450.
The Toro MX 3450 will mow 2 foot high kikyua and 30 inch high Love grass. I am very impressed. I didn't think it would mow that but it did. My cub cadet would/will not mow that high of grass.
The only other machine I have used that would mow that height and thickness of grass is a greenfield self propelled slasher.
I have been thinking of buying some type of slasher but I might not need to now.
    Cheers

that is good to hear. Obviously not underpowered. Is it the Toro engine or did you get one of the older ones with the kwaka engine? What's your first impression of fuel consumption? Is the seat comfortable?
