    Default weed sprayers

I'm after a new weed sprayer, open to back pack or wheel along versions, wouldn't mind a small boom fitting option.

Have had a look on eBay and theres a lot of 12 volt and small 2 stroke versions for not a lot of cash, any good?

the ebay ones are pretty cheap for a reason - they're crap. Have a 12v one at a large property I maintain...I use my solo 475

I get by with the adjustable pressure Solo and a 4 nozzle boom. Only thing that sh1ts me with the Solo is that it contstantly gets tangled up with other gear in the back of the ute.

Solo 475 and cheap 2 lt jobbies for small quantities, when they **** you just replace them.

Go the Solo 475 for sure, I've had one now for 5 years and it has been completely drama free.

Had a quick look at 12v sprayers a while back and the ones I saw where charged from 240v. Problem I imagine is if it goes flat while doing multiple jobs you cant change batteries or recharge it from your vehicle.

After picking up a selecta back pack sprayer i decided to see what everyone here is buying and saw the solo as a popular brand. Then noticed they are very similar to the point in being the same product.
Just wanted to ask in confirming if they are ?

I bought the cheapest 15L Selecta WeedPak ( $50 odd at the time) about 5 years ago and it's still as good as new. Never had any trouble with it, no leaks. It started out being a red tank, but it's now a very pale pink but no signs of getting brittle. Smashed the lance one time & replaced it with a better quality Solo lance that cost more than the original sprayer. Replaced the shoulder straps this year as they were getting rotten.
I only use Glypho in this sprayer

They look similar other than tank shape, how does the price compare?

If you do a lot of spraying I would highly recommend a rechargeable sprayer. One of the best tools I have purchased.

After another sprayer - Have a 15l getting old and the 18l is a bit big for everyday use.

Was looking at Shindaiwa Back Pack Sprayer SP30BPE (11 litres)- can get it for about $160. Anyone used this model and if so how are they?

Any others that are around that size that you can recommend?
