    Default A very small lawn

I have been asked to mow a very small lawn that involves pushing a mower thru the house. I think she would be a good customer however I kind of regret accepting it because my mowers are both too big (hru216 and rover procut 50). They will go thru the house ok but its the postage stamp size lawn that has a couple of tight spaces that could be an issue and it just seems overkill. I'll try it first with the procut but does anyone have any ideas on an alternative be it fuel or electric mowers. I really don't want to spend more on another mower as i don't have any similar jobs. I have actually thought I might do it with a whipper snipper then use the sthil BG86 blower vacuum kit which I got thrown in with the blower. Anyone use one of these vacuum kits, are they any good. She is after a neat finish. I've done small lawns with whipper snippers before but they didn't need a good finish.

I guess it's not a PITA job until you try it but the warning signs are there. At least there is no dog.

These jobs are a pain as you're stuck to a time for access and the fact the client will be present means they're likely to chat and slow you down. Not to mention if you drop grass (especially in winter) through the house you'll be unpopular. I've had 2 such jobs in the past and never again.

customer. Job is fine. Well more to the point, customer is fine too however, its having to pre-arrange access that is the problem. I couldn't contact her so it throws the plans out.

she's gone, it just didn't work out. Think I only did it twice. The actual reason turned out to be money, she asked me to do all this other stuff and when presented at the end of the job with the cost she was a bit shocked. Just assumed i'd do all the extra stuff for not much more than the mow. Anyway she paid and it just fizzled out after that. It was a happy breakup for both of us.
