    Default shindaiwa T270 problem

Repairing this for an elderly neighbour
Engine ran, head wouldn't turn - pull it down, one of the clutch shoes had disintegrated.
Install new clutch assembly, put it all back together, Runs fine for a few seconds then head stops turning (speedfeed). Take the SF head off and everything is fine again but when I screw it on, it screws everything up tight and won't budge....what am I missing here/doing wrong? Is there a bit missing? I've never used a speedfeed head....and this is doing MY head in

That cup shape washer shouldn't be there, the one up against the speed feed.
The only time it's like that (pictured) is when a blade is fitted
You might need the plastic spacer fitted, usually on Echo but my 260T i'm sure hasn't got the spacer fitted which was supplied in SF kit,may be different depending on how old it is.
