    So Fred what is your final verdict on the battery unit ( Still ?? )..are you sold on it...last bit of info was you flogged it for a week then it had to go back for repairs ???? your advice very much appreciated

    Hi Geoff, not final verdict but, apart from minor hiccup as noted, its been great.
    Use it almost every working day.
    From MY experience, would reccomend.

    thanks mate appreciate the feedback..your word is good enough for me.. for the amount of hedging you do and thats heaps so much more than most on here thats a pretty good wrap

    Fred was good enough to give me a demo of his gear. I loved the pole/hedge trimmer (light, minimal vibration, good run time, doesn't stall while you are at the top of a ladder like the petrol one does), whippy i didn't like (awkward to use, not enough power). Used the blower since which was also good, very powerful, run time was poor on the blower though and the model i used had no holding point for the battery on the machine itself you either held the battery, clipped it onto your belt or used the backpack battery.

    agreed.
    since owning HLA65 & HSA86 last year, I never used my 2 strokes Shindaiwa M230 & 2200DH anymore
