Brilliant bit of gear. My pop had one the same brand back in the day for his chisels, planes etc etc
I dont break things ...I just use them beyond their operational limitations

Are these machine bit of an over kill? Do you guys use these for sharpening mower blades?
Personally I think it'd be overkill for mower blades. They are precision gear more for fine edges, knives, chisels etc etc

I have a Magna Matic complete with balancer. Best bit of kit I could have. Saved me lots $ in replacing blades or outsourcing the sharpening. I am talking for a ride on which has 3 blades, I get at least six sharpens out of a set of blades and at $ 40 per blade new, the machine has certainly paid for itself.
I use a flap disc on a 4" angle grinder, get a razor sharp blade, can keep the edge straight and done in a matter of seconds.
