Ill say this. .quote what you think you'll be happy with..and customer will be happy with. ..every area is different
Definitely per job. Only ever quoted hourly rate once and only got to do the job once (I probably overpriced it considering the ride on I had at the time).
I agree with John re-post it in the private section.
You need to be a member
.having said that I'm a member and i have never been in their
The reason members asked for this section and Dean set it up was that anyone can have an account on here without being a member. We have had and probably still do have members of the large franchises with accounts here along with the dreaded lawn grubs. Some of these people rake this forum for info.
The purpose of the members only section is to keep valuable information within the member group. If you want to see it then pay the fee to become a member and support Indy. There is lots of valuable info we share as members but I for one dont want to share that info with our direct opposition like Jims or VIP or the bloke who wants to take all the info but not support the members or the organisation giving it to him.
Cheers

It doesn't matter blue no secrets in running a business these days on that other forum, one reason the whole industry has turned to $#iT now with a pile of boot operators starting up.
I'm hearing you but i'm not giving up hope just yet. If we learn to stick together we can achieve a much better outcome for each and everyone of us. I'm guessing even lawn grubs would like better pay and conditions. It's time this industry caught up with a few of the other trades cause at present we are way behind.
